I responded to a FB ad months ago about student loan forgiveness. Since then I have been getting 3-5 calls A DAY regarding their program from a variety of phone numbers. I've spoken to them, asking them to remove my name, that I am not interested in their program (I work for the State of Oregon and know this company to be a scam!) but keep getting calls.

A female left me a voice mail claiming we had spoken about student loan forgiveness. She gave no real identifying information about herself, or about who I was. She claimed to be calling on behalf of the "DOE" Department of Education. The government does NOT contact people over the phone. Do not give her any information.

Scam for student loan forgiveness through D.O.E. (Scam call) reported by


Prerecorded but made to sound like real person. Claimed they had spoken to me yesterday about my student loan forgiveness program through the "DOE". Gave a fake file number to reference when I call back. I checked and found no such program in existence only warning about fraudsters claiming there is.
