scam scam scam. need to let others know that this is scam. robot called indicated that if I did not pay immediately my service will be cut off in 30 minutes! I called center point to verify and my account is current but they have been getting these calls. it's a real number and that's an issue but it's not them. they never call for late notice. you get a letter.

Fake Center Point Energy called threatening me that they would disconnect my electricity. Of course I hung up. Real CPE does not need to do that, they just disconnect your utility if you don't pay. SPAM!

Same thing here. Number called earlier this week and again today. I don't have a Centerpoint account.

I received a phone call earlier today from 713-207-2222 stating my service would be disconnected in 30-45 minutes and to press 1 to speak to a representative. Naturally I knew this was not legit because the does they do not notify you of such ridiculous terms so I hung up. It’s best not to press 1 just hang up or do not answer. These thieves are attempting to gain access to your phone so do help them fraud you. Life is complicated and for some of us prices are extremely high so I surely don’t need these thieves to make things harder than they already are. So please ignore those calls and pass it onto Facebook or whatever your platform maybe let’s stop these criminals.
