Any official business that is not a scammer will have a toll free 1-800 number that they would give you to reach them at. also they called my cell phone 3 times within 5 hours. very abnormal, and I did not receive and mail. it stating that the IRS was trying to sue me, if this was the case I would have been served by an officer at the residents.

Called 4 times today on my cell. Each time the same message was left "This is the IRS. This is your final warning. IRS is filing lawsuit against you..." Clearly a scam. IRS - or any reputable company/bank - will always send you a letter first.

Received a call today 8/7/17 at Noon. Computerized voice told me it was the IRS, that this was their final attempt to contact me, that the IRS has filed a lawsuit against me, and that I need to call back at the same number (714-555-0164). I called as I didn't know. They told me I owed $7,646 and that I needed to at least pay $1k or they would have me arrested, I told him off and hungup!! DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!!!!!!

Received a call at 8:44 this morning. Computerized voice told me it was the IRS, that this was their final attempt to contact me, that the IRS has filed a lawsuit against me, and that I need to call back at the same number (714-555-0164). This sort of thing makes me sick - wondering how many people fall prey to such hideous scams.
