Scam from "Microsoft" saying I was hacked and needed software (Scam call) reported by


The guy said he worked for Microsoft and that my computer was being hacked and I needed to download their anti-hack software by giving them access to my computer. DO NOT GIVE ANYONE REMOTE ACCESS OF YOUR COMPUTER UNLESS THEY ARE FROM A TRUSTED SOURCE! They can literally lock you out of your computer and delete all of your files unless you give them money! I asked him to specify which computer was being hacked because I have multiple laptops and desktops (none linked to my work phone, which is the phone he called and led me to believe it was a scam in the first place). He could not tell me the description of the computer in question, brand or model. He just said the "Microsoft computer" over and over. I told him I was not interested as I don't have any problems with my computers and no signs of a hack, plus I know of all the computer scams going around. He started to get upset and insist it wasn't a scam and wanted me to talk to his supervisor to prove it's real. Like that's going to make me fall for it, a fellow scammer that you say is your "supervisor". If you want a good laugh, a guy on YouTube messes with scammers all day and records what they are doing to his computer (link below). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7V7w75mKjk&t=2398s Don't fall for these guys.

This number called six times yesterday and the first call came in today. There is no answer for call back and no message system. I would say that points to robocalls.
