Before Javier left this number as a call back i was deluged with 2 calls a day for a month from a 'thrown' number. my local codes are 484 610 215 267, he was able to alter the caller id to make me think someone local was calling. home advisor and scamgies list are now one company. What they do is pretend to be a customer looking for a job to be done, they need you sooo much! then switch modes to try to get you into their scam. NEVER USE ANGIE'S LIST ANGIE HOME ADVISOR OR ANY OTHER TYPE SCAM. What those services do is charge the contractor 50 bucks for the lead. I've know people that got $2000 bills for a month of go nowhere leads. i remember a gc i knew calling me frantically because he had to pay for a lead in work he could not do and begged me to do it. Find your own contractor get 5 bids throw out the top and bottom bid and work from the honest guys in the middle. these lists come about because homeowners in their unmitigated cheap, drive away all the qualified people and then play victim to a situation they create for themselves, by bottom feeding. Every few months to every few years liste hire someone new to scour google yelp and all other business listing and try to get them to subscribe to these scams, that look good to you! free estimate a bunch of contractors in one place. what they do not tell you is they bill each and every person you click on, they make money whether you hire someone or were just price checking and now instead of a free estimate wasting just gas and time, they poor guy has to pay 50 bucks to talk to a cheap person that won't hire him anyway if he is buying the right supplies and using enough of them to do the job right. calls were from a series of 215 608 xxxx numbers. he finally left a message, so i called him back and told him off. Angie is a scam that sticks it to the guys you want to do something for you, and i know several contractors that pulled themselves off of it because of the huge bills they get for go nowhere leads
