They claimed they were the IRS, but failed to use correct legal terminology regarding both the service of the lawsuit as well as their alleged filing of the matter. They said they would "download" my case to "the courthouse". Additionally, the lack of any details re: the alleged fraud and the jurisdiction location provide additional indications of fraud.

Nunber seemed odd so I let the call go to voicemail. Said it was from the IRS and they were filing a legal warrant under my name claming they had tried to contact me for the last 6 months. Apparently a lawsuit has also been filed under my name by the united states and me and my family are being investigated.

Same as below, they have been trying to mail and contact me and the US Government is filing a lawsuit against me and I need to make payment before they download my court case to the local courts. When argued that the IRS does not call you, Maya said well I am calling you and I am from the IRS. When I asked where is your office located and I still thought they were scamming people, she hung up.

A robotic voice mail was left on my work voicemail. The caller has a robotic voice instead of a real person. Broken English andnclaim to be filing a law suit for tax fraud. Nice try. This is fake and please don’t fall victim to this scam. Warn the elderly in your life. I could see someone falling for this. Not today, Isis.
