They say “The warranty on your car is running out and if we don’t hear from you, we will be forced to close the file. Press 1 if ( Fill in the blank ). Press 2 to be removed from these calls.” DONT! That verifies they have a live phone number to harass. No car has a warranty! Your car insurance will make very clear what company is calling, who the specific caller is, and the reason they contacted you (which is limely to be by mail). They will leave a return call number and if you Google it, the number will belong to an agent at your insurance company. Don’t be fooled or panicked into doing anything. These vermin count on that and it also targets the elderly! Block the call, report it to the FCC, and forget it.

I received a call from this number, they asked if they were speaking to me...my full name, when I said yes, they hung up. That made me very suspicious since the number had shown up with hang ups for over a week. I called back 4 times to ask who they were, what company they were affiliated with. They became rude and would not tell me any info on their reason for the call and hung up on me all 4 times. I am turning their number into the local authorities and the FBI

They called me, asked for my name. When I asked for the company name, they hung up. When I called back they kept asking for me, but I just kept asking for the company name. I just kept calling and eventually, they blocked me...

same thing happened to me. Got the call and a man asked if it was ....my name, I said yes and they hung up so I called back 4 times, argues with the female who was incredibly rude and would not tell me the name of their company or why they were phoning me. I am reporting them to our local police and the FBI. If they are scamming the elderly, they just did it to the wrong old broad!

They insisted on wanting to know who I was aND I said well tell me who you are and I may answer your question. She got nasty and said I was very rude. I said well you called me you should know who you called and then she hung up.

I couldn't find any info for this specific number, but there are two facts: people do search for this number which can be seen from different similar pages, and there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Probably calling with different offers for different companies, but for sure some general call center. I recommend to block the whole 7273139xxx range... Did someone answer any number of this range?
