Call center seeking roadside assistance for customers. Various names and all kinds of different phone numbers. When you say it was Allstate or State Farm or GMC ... it wasn't. When a motorist is stranded on the road and they have this "benefit" (either free from their insurance or lender, or paid for as an extra "peace of mind" sale on their loan, contract, etc.), these places do not have crews of their own. They simply look up shops on the internet and start calling them. It would be faster for the motorist to do this themselves. At my business WE DO NOT OFFER A ROADSIDE SERVICE and we tell all of them this every time they call. but they don't keep a list of good (and not good) places to call (which would be far less time consuming for everyone involved -- their customer, they themselves, and us). Instead they do the whole routine over and over and over again, while their customer is stranded on a road somewhere in the US. They don't even call by region - they call by state. They call us for service from clear across the state, hours away. That roadside service clause you added on and paid for (or possibly received "free" as a bullet item-selling point on wherever you got it from) is a useless.

Need my car jump started. Called Allstate Motor Club (member) received a return call from (727)540-2665, this area code is from St Petersburg, Fla.,and from other states. Called me twice first call (potential) spam showed on my phone. 2nd call phone allowed. Unable to hear name because he mumbled it. Voice mail waned a return call on my location. Did not return call. The area code (727) has shown on my phone as spam. The area code came from Wytheville Va, Roanoke Va, and some calls from WVA. Did not return call.
