I made a phone purchase at Boost Mobile, and like a minute after the purchase I received a call from (727) 572-8822, I didn’t pick it up, they left a message and told me to call back at a different number (888) 918-7313 with a case number. After looking up the number and reading this thread, I decided to call them back. A person answered ( American) and asked for my phone number and my case number. She named the purchase item and the price, and asked me did I make this purchase and was I forced to make this purchase. I confirmed the purchase and price, and she said okay, the card is unblocked you can go ahead and use it. It seems legit from PSCU financial institute.

they said there was a hold on my credit card and gave me a case number. I would not discuss this matter with them as my CU was in ohio. Called my CU and discussed the situation with them and found out it was ligit. I would rather talk to my CU instead someone I don't know!

verification from Credit Union (for me, Apple FCU), They called to verify that the 4 recent payments I made in quick succession were real. They had the correct info and knew who it was to, so yes, they're legit. They had my info correct and I didn't even have to verify anything. They released the hold on my card due to the suspicious charges.(The charges I made, since they were within one minute from the other probably got automatically flagged as it should be flagged as suspicious). And they called me less than 20 minutes after I placed the charges so that lends even more credit that it was credible. I don't know why they didn't ask me to verify my identity, although they called the phone number that's on file with them so maybe that's why.

This number was used to call me. They said a hold was placed on a debit card and the caller gave a claim number. I have used the debit card without trouble and will be calling my credit union when they open for business on Monday.

Simple call asking about recent card transactions. The caller lady had the correct info, and sounded professional and answered questions I had for security reasons, though it was rather quick and I didn't expect any calls not during my local branch's hours of operation.

Rang offering link to a complimentary webinar of GDPR, said he was ringing on behalf of 'Sage'. Seems scammy to me, will not press on a link if received. He already had my name, job title and email address. I guess the call is to make sure I do click on a link. Could be legitimate I suppose, but I'm not risking it. I know as much as I need to know about GDPR at the moment I think...
