Telemarketing scam (Scam call) reported by Home security system scam
It's a robot calling about home security. It takes a second to start it's pitch. If you say "no" or "no thank you" it quickly says "sorry for any inconvenience, goodbye" and hands up before you can say anything else. I get this call several times a week. I finally called it back and you get a crappy answering machine voice to help put you on their do not call list. I went through with that, I hope I didn't actually just sign up for something else... We'll see.

I received two phone calls from this number. The second time I answered the lady asked if I wanted to have a free home security system if they could put a sign in the front lawn. I have no idea how they got my number as I don't normally get unsolicited calls.

I have no idea how this company got my number, but they called and claimed to be from some security company, asking if I would be interested in getting a free security system in exchange for a sign for their company on my front lawn. When I kindly tried saying no and that I wasn't interested, the woman just grunted a 'fine' and hung up. Far from being a serious company, as they've called me about 5 times over the last few days, and twice I've answered only to be hung up on.
