MALE WITH ACCENT... ASKING FOR PAYMENT FOR PAST DUE ELECTRIC BILL. OR SERVICES TURNED OFF TODAY THE NUMBER IS 786-484-2481 EX 1000 AND TO HAVE SOMEONE CALL BACK TO MAKE PAYMENT. ASK FOR EDWARD MILLER AT EX 1000. THIS IS A NURSING HOME AND WE ARE NOT PAST DUE. WE CALLED BACK AND SAID WE KNOW THIS IS A SCAM HE HUNG UP.

Said they would disconnect electricity in 45 minutes (Scam call) reported by


Man said he was a technician with ENTERGY and that he was on his way next on his route to disconnect our power in the next 45 minutes... had our address as well. Said to call the 786-484-2481 ext 1000 to get with Entergy to make sure our bill was paid. I took the number down and hung up; called Entergy and they said it was a scam. I reported to the MS Attorney General and I encourage anyone who receives a call from this person to call their state attorney general so that they can investigate.

Claimed power cut in 20 mins (Scam call) reported by


The caller gave me this number and ext 1000 to call about why our power would be cut in 20 minutes. We are a business and I checked our invoices and it was paid. He said to call this number and talk to them. I did try and call it but no one answered. I called power company and they confirmed all bills were paid.

Said they were a technician from Duke Energy (Scam call) reported by


Said I needed to call this number (which is supposed to be Duke Energy Corporate) and find out why my account is past due, otherwise they were coming out to disconnect our power). The guy ended up hanging up on me when I started asking him questions. LOL

Stated they were FPL and were shutting service off for unpaid bil (Scam call) reported by


Guy called and stated that they had a technician on their way to shut off power to us for unpaid bills. Problem is that I called FPL and confirmed that they are scammers and also called the police and provided the phone number to them. They are tracking the phone number.

Someone claiming to be E. M. called me and told me they were from FPL and that the lights would be terminated in 30 minutes unless I paid immediately.
