I wish I would’ve done my research before giving money to my husband . We lost nearly 2,000 . Had an Indian accent . A man and a woman . I can’t even finish describing our experience because of how furious I still am .

Offered my an approved loan from an application I did online. (Scam call) reported by Melissa
I applied for a small loan online and the one company sold or shared my information with other "so called" lenders. They called me from that number which is a google voice number which was red flag number one. They claimed to be First American Cash Advance. So I googled the company name and asked if they were the online one or did they have a physical location. They told me a location but didn't want to tell me the address. They sounded like they had an overseas accent. They them proceeded to tell me they needed to deposit money into my account prior to my loan to verify my account. I said this sounds like a scam. She said ma;am I am depositing my money into your account. I said your money or the company's money? She said the business' so I asked what their banking institution was and their account number so I could verify with my bank it was a legitimate account registered to that company name. She told me to hold on, left me on hold for 3 minutes then hung up on me. So I called back and got a man this time, he tried to console me telling me it was not a scam and it is a business account the money would be coming from. So I asked what company underwrites your loans? He said the BBB, Better Business Bureau. I laughed and said the BBB is not a loan underwriting company they are a company who handles complaints and ratings of US based businesses. Then he quickly hung up before I got out that I would be reporting them to the BBB and the Florida Attorney General. Since the area code they chose on google voice is for Miami but they could be in India for all I know. Do not answer their call, give them any personal information, and definitely do not accept any money from them.
