They ask for SS # don't ever give out your information, they are calling you, they should have that already. They claim they are Synchrony bank, I have accounts with this bank, it's not them.I also was directed to call 866 898 3974, part of the scam. They are bad at it, yet I understand where some may fall for it. BEWARE

You hit the nail on the head! I have an account with these ying yangs and it is current. They leave a message everyday and as of today they have called me 37 times since last tuesday. I have talked to them directly ..I have left Messages I have called synchrony 5 times about this matter and inspite of the reassurance that it is a miscommunication they continue to leave messages.I have even blocked them but still leaving messages with no name just a demand of my social amd they leave a number they dont answer. Very odd.. Knuckleheads.!

They call 5 to 10 times a day even though they are blocked. They leave a recorded message that is cut off so I have no idea who is calling ridiculous.

It’s a scam company claiming to be Synchrony, I have a Synchrony credit card and I called them and they said they haven’t called and my account is in excellent standing When you call this 800 number back they just ask you for your personal info

I finally had enough and reported this number to the REAL Synchrony Bank today, and I also filed a report with the FTC (Federal Trade Commission).

Call is from Synchrony Bank which handles debt collection for CareCredit and others. I do owe CareCredit some money so in that case it is a valid call but what is upsetting to me is the fact that they call multiple times (including my work which is NOT acceptable) and never leave a message.
