Received mail about needing to call for warranty extension. Says my vehicle isn't covered, says I own the vehicle when I don't own it. Says I can ONLY make the deal on the phone call and that I can't call back. I asked where they're based out of, guy says company is from California and call center he was from is Boston. Keeps telling me about 4 year unlimited coverage, with $395 down, $260 a month. I keep telling him no, but continues on. Guy sounds like he's reading from a script, but isn't a robot.

I didn't answer when they called but called back. First guy told me they were the warranty dept and then hung up on me. Second person said they were the automotive protection department.

My phone didn't even ring. This number just left a voicemail, claiming to be with the 'warranty department'. It's a car warranty scam. Upon looking up the number I discovered it is flagged as extortion. Do not answer, and completely disregard this number or any message they leave you.

I've received multiple calls over the last few months from Motor Vehicle Services offering to renew my warranty on my 2013 Nissan...I drive a Nissan, but I don't own a 2013...*face palm* Every time I speak to someone I tell them to take me off their call list.
