This call claimed to be AT&T via automated message saying that my account was suspended and I needed to take action. However, no AT&T account exists to suspend because T-Mobile bought my phone number from AT&T (so I could keep it) and I am a T-Mobile customer. The scammers still think it is AT&T because of the exchange digits. They wanted me to hit "1" for something and "2" to speak to a representative, but I didn't proceed any further.

These **** called my cell w a computerized voice saying they were AT&T & about to suspend my account. The voice gives you options to choose - I chose to speak to a rep (which obviously would've been FAKE), which then asks you to enter your account number & access code - which I just entered all 0's & then they just say they'll call you back & hang up on you - probably thinking they had access to my account. BTW, they must just be randomly calling #'s they somehow know which carrier you belong to (not too difficult to find out online), bc I am on a family plan of which I am NOT the account holder! **** - as I never entered enough zero's to equal an acct # or last 4 digits of a social security num (which is probably what they're after in the 1st place!) ****! JUST BE AWARE OF THESE PEOPLE PHISHING FOR INFO TO STEAL!

I got two phone calls from this number. automated voice said my account was suspended and instructed to press 2 to reactivate it. I did not follow the instructions and hung up. this number is very similar to the legit ATT customer service number, which is 800-331-0xxx.

Just received my fifth call from this i*iot. Always the same caller, Indian male, VERY persistent and after repeatedly saying no to this guy, he continued on with why I needed to follow his directions. I was extremely rude to him on the 2nd, 3rd, and fourth times he called. However, when I received the 5th call, I went to work and screamed over his screaming. I asked him questions repeatedly until he answered. He finally answered where he worked with the lie of, "I work for Microsoft." I couldn't believe he actually said that and I repeated his answer back to him. All other questions I asked resulted in sudden breakups on the line. He then said, when I call you back....which is when I flipped out and told him, NO, you will NOT be calling me back, mother expletive, and hung up. IF he has the nerve to call me again, I am SO ready with a surprise of my own!

These scammers want you to install a software that they can use to remotely connect to your computer, delete files that will make windows run unstable and then find personal information on your computer so that they can download it. Claimed he was with the 'computer company' and my computer is showing over 9,000 viruses and I needed to immediately give him access so he could help. When I asked him if his scam really works, he became defensive and told me he was going to lock me out of my computer.....
