Job Offer (Telemarketer) reported by Greg
I received a second voicemail message from Sandy with the exact verbiage others on this site have transcribed. Initial call was unsolicited call from Sandy fir a job offer, second call was a follow-up. Based on the findings from the contributors in this group, I’m not going to call them back. I have filters on my phone to weed out unsolicited calls and spam and this one somehow made bit through twice. Blocking the number now.

I sat through a 1 hour webex call run by a fast talker named Kori. He spent the whole hour bragging about a multi billion dollar business. He didn’t answer one question as promised and at the end of the hour I was told I could have this great for commission job if I just paid $229 a month for their CRM. He claimed I would get great training and support. When I proposed a question about the monthly fee, it was never answered. Big scam.

Job Scam (Unsolicited call) reported by Robin
I got the same "Sandy" call as others, but was alerted to this as a scam because the phone number was different that left the voicemail than what called me. Additionally, no recruiter would call me about a job without being more specific about the role for which they are hiring.

This number belongs to Energy Network. (Telemarketer) reported by Dprezaz
Energy Network called offering me employment for which I have no experience. They at this writing have replaced “Sandy” with Mark Swenson. Sorry for the real Mr. Swenson who looks weeks away from dying from COVID 19. Hang up, don’t reply, DONT CALL.!!! If someone offers you something to good to be true... it’s probably is.

robo call job scam (Unsolicited call) reported by 64.44.32.xxx
I found voice a message left on phone, and sounded too vague and too rehearsed not to be a robocall, so I looked it up and it matches other complaints; “Hi this is Sandy with Professionals Network and I'm calling because my HR department asked me to reach out to you and told you resume a while back but we didn't have anything available to time now with our energy network division which is our 10-year-old division so when you get this message call me at 1-800-241-2561 and I'll be here most of the day but if you do reach someone else on my team _ can go ahead and give you the details of the position as well the compensation it is appropriate um schedule you with one of our senior account acquisition manager again my name my number is 1-800-241-2561 and I look forward to talking to you today…”

Hi, this is Sandy and I'm still trying to reach you. It's regarding an opportunity with energy Network. So when you get this message, will you do me a favor and call me to let me know that you are still interested or if you're not interested. I'll scratch your name off our candidate list. Okay. Again, my number is 1 800-241-2561.

Job Scam (Scam call) reported by Eaton
I did not give them enough time to explain why they were calling. The person I spoke with was a guy with an American accent. I told him to add my number to their do not call list. He replied that he would, and used my first name during the call, so he has my information from who knows where? Really disappointing I can't have privacy.

Received this call the same as the others only this time they changed the job to International Division. Agree with all the other comments that a legitimate company would not chase you...“Hi this is Sandy and I'm calling again just to make sure you received my voice message last week since I haven't heard back from you so I was asked to reach out to you regarding an opportunity with our international division energy not work and I know it's been a while since HR is reviewed your résumé so if you were still looking or perhaps you would like to go to side residual income just give me a call at 1-800-241-2561 so I can get you the details on the position as well as the compensation and then schedule you with one of our senior talent acquisition managers again my number is 1-800-241-2561…”

The call came from 725-242-0384. Below was the transcribed voicemail. I marked as spam and ignored. Hi, this is Sandy and I'm still trying to reach you. It's regarding an opportunity with energy Network. So I met with my boss this morning, and he asked me if we've had a chance to discuss this and of course, I told him that we haven't yet, but that I would try to call you again today. So when you get this message, will you do me a favor and call me to let me know that you are still interested or if you're not interested. I'll scratch your name off our candidate list. Okay. Again, my number is 1 800-241-2561.

Same script as others word for word. Business opportunity scam (Unsolicited call) reported by David
No legitimate business opportunity chases people with unsolicited calls like this unless it is a classic multi level marketing scheme like herbalife. Calling from a bunch of random non toll free numbers and asking you to call back on one till free number is a clear red flag. Don't call them back

I Talked to Them (Scam call) reported by Adrian P
I got the same messages word for word. SANDY sounded annoyed I didnt call her back. That was an indication right there. Anytime someone is annoyed you arent getting back to them about a job they're offering, it isnt good. Any real job makes YOU contact THEM and for YOU to put your best foot forward to show you're a good candidate. No good position chases you as there are plenty of competitors for the job and the job is a wanted position!! Also, the company doesnt take anyone!! I actually talked to someone. They had me sign up for a zoom meeting to hear all about what the company does. I've done this before with other companies. Nothing of real substance is on their website. They chase and chase you and many others who didnt even apply for the position. They send you to a general meeting where a CEO hypes you up about what they do and earning potential. You then earn nothing as no company you know wants to work with a company like this. Sure, some people that work for them earn millions. And to be fair, those employees actually do!! But they are the 1% of the people who apply. They call as many people as they can hoping they get some people to stick and sign on. Not a company I want to work for.
3
Steve
What do they get out of it? Do they ask you for money in order to work for their company?
TRR
Yes, please! Give us more details about it
Amy
Steve they sometimes ask for money, and sometimes it's a numbers game with a multi level marketing scheme like Amway or Herbalife or many many others. If they call thousands and even 50 come in and buy the hype and they get those people to sell under them, they get some money. These types are have CEOs that know how to talk and are super charming and positive but never answer any real questions.

Employment Offer (Nuisance call) reported by Maggie
"Hi this is Sandy and I'm calling again to make sure you received my prior voicemail message. Sine I didn't hear back from you I was asked to reach out regarding a potential career with our energy network international division. I know it's been a while since HR has reviewed your resume so I'm not sure if you are still looking to make a high figure income full-time or to potentially develop a position or annuity on the side if you are interested in discussing for a few minutes give us a call at 800-241-2561." The call came from a local number in my area. I looked up Energy Network on line. There was an Energy Network Media local and international - 800 #'s didn't match. While the site had a lot of info, it was vague. No specific information on what they actually do. Not sure if this call and website are one in the same. If people/companies aren't willing to be upfront with you, then something's up. I feel confident this is a SCAM.

Same as what everyone else keeps saying. Sandy with a energy company (doesn't say who) is looking to get me in touch with a talant recruiter for their company because they liked my resume that I sent them (never did). Their clients include *insert big name corporations to attention grab*. $80 million dollars of revenue brought in and growing! Don't fall for it. It is truly a scam.

I just got out of a meeting and my boss asked if you and I had a chance to discuss and of course, I told them that we hadn't yet. When you get this message, would you do me a favor and either give me a call and let me know that you're not interested, and I'll go ahead and scratch your name off of our candidate list, or we can send through Thursday so I can get you the details and see if there's some synergy. sandy from energy network, form professionals network, spoke well (Company) reported by muki
No idea who this was, but the lack of info suggested it was spam. I noticed the person spoke good american english, sounded professional, and otherwise I might have returned the call. Called form a local area code, but with a 214 exchange (so probably recent phone # or a scam.). Called back, got a recording for a "wholly owned subsidiary of the professionals network". No idea what that is.
