Pioneer debt collector is not a bad call. I thought so at first until I called the IRS. IRS recently have a debt collector to collect older tax bills. The longer you wait to call back you will stay owe them and it could go on your credit. To be on safe side always call IRS FIRST!!

relentless pitch to sell me a puppet (Nuisance call) reported by


Some saleswoman named Ellen continuously kept offering to sell me a movie prop , apparently some puppet from a movie called Munchie from the 80's or 90's. I told her stop, since it seemed like an obvious prank call, but I get called again and again over and over, by this woman who is stuck on scamming me into paying her for some movie prop. when i miss the call it leaves a sort of robotic sounding message, but i realize its this woman Ellen doing a sort of robocall robot voice then sneaks in a pitch about the Munchie puppet. I am thinking about calling my best friend Jimmy who is a police officer if the harassment doesn't stop

Called from 254-9848, but encouraged me to call back a different number. Voicemail sounded like a real person not a robot - claimed to be IRS contracted debt collector., but I have not received any letters from the IRS, so I will not be calling the number back unless I get any mail from the IRS.

Claimed IRS Letter Sent (Call centre) reported by


Gave a name and employee ID number and said the call would be recorded. Claimed they wanted to verify we received a letter from the IRS. We had recently moved and said no. They told us to submit a change of address with a form # with the IRS. We asked what it was regarding and they said they couldn't tell us. Sounded professional but very shady because they couldn't provide any detail on what the letter supposedly said or what it was regarding. We're guessing it's likely a scam that includes a letter to people telling them they owe money. We'll have to wait and see if anything shows up in the mail.

someone named Stephanie Travers or Travis from Pioneer Recovery called from one number 8002549848 but left different number 8004483531. said something about wanting me to call them and something about a reference number. Don't have debt. will not call back after reading comments here
