Some corporate slug telemarketer trying to intrude on my precious time.They purport to be from Cox Communications but I suspect a scam. What an **** judging by the recorded conversation he left on Robo killer. The answer bot kept him on the line for almost five full minutes playing. "Guess the names and order and trivia about the US Presidents?" It was hilarious! Perfectly timed by the canned recording to engage him in anything but what he was trying to do and he didn't figure it out for a long time.

I have Robo Killer on my phone and the message left they were asking for me by name. If based on the other reviews this is Cox Communications trying to give me a new modem I would say it is a crap sales call. I just got a letter in the mail also stating the same thing. The one from the mail was trying to get me to up grade my modem (which I just activated a new one a week and a half ago)...to little too late. Went to the website and they actually wanted me to pay for the upgrade of $179 when you can buy the same one from amazon for 99.

Caller offer to give me a free modem from Cox communications. Why would someone call after 8pm to give me a free modem. She wanted me to repeat my address, i told her "NO" she had my address and why would i have to repeat it.This so sounded like a scam.She got nerves and i just hung up the call.Caller BEWARE!!!

Caller said they are from Cox and my cable modem shows out of date on their system. Offered to send me a new modem for free ( real Cox gives away nothing for free). My modem is new and approved high speed by Cox, I just got it a few months ago and had to setup with Cox tech support. When I told her this she hung up on me. I’m guessing they are phishing for personal info, scam.
