It starts with the ATT jingle, Said they were ATT and my account was being deactivated. Press 1 to re-activate, press 2 to talk to a representative. Upon pressing 2 a recording asked "enter you ATT PIN"... it repeated it over and over, never ending until I hung up.

the 800-288 prefix is the same as the AT&T main line, so these jackholes are trying to look convincing. I just confirmed my account and did upgrades over the last weekend, so I am confident that my account is in good standing. these horse traders can step off...don't be fooled. hang up and call AT&T yourself if you are in doubt.
