Got a robocall claiming my Verizon acct. was suspended. I pushed 1 and got a person who claimed that Verizon was upgrading to 5G in my area. Asked for my zip, confirmed my area would be affected, said Verizon would reimburse me $50 for the inconvenience, sent me a text to verify and asked for the text code which I gave. While I was doing this, I looked up the 800 phone number they called from and found out that it had been flagged as a scam call number. They immediately called back from a California area code and tried to complete whatever they were doing. When I asked for verification that they were indeed Verizon, they hung up. Also note, that they may have been using a voice changer to make their voice sound very raspy, maybe to distract from what they were attempting to do. Immediately after they disconnected the call, I received an email from Verizon charging my account for a new iPhone that I did not order being delivered to my address. I contacted Verizon immediately and they took care of it. I changed the password to my account just in case. The Verizon person I spoke with was super helpful and also informed me that their fraud department had already flagged my account for fraudulent activity. That iPhone order was never charged to my account, thankfully.

They claimed to be Verizon and that my account was suspended. Asked for my zip code. They said they were switching from 4g to 5g. I said how do I know this is Verizon? the lady said she could give me her credentials. Then didn’t and asked a question. Asked if I could hold. Then hung up on me.

They claimed to be Verizon and that my account had been suspended. I knew they weren't. I got an actual dude (sounded American) and he said in a nice customer service voice that he was a customer care rep and asked how I was doing. I knew it was fake and just said "hey can you remove me from the list please?" He got angry and said "No I will not remove you from the stupid list you f***ing b****" and hung up on me.

They called me claiming to be verizon and had me speak to a representative. Asked for billing zip code and for "verification" codes that were texted to me. Claimed there was a glitch on Verizon's side and they were verifying my info. Turns out they changed my password and address and bought telephones. Then sent me a ton of scam emails.
