Frauded Fraud protection (Unsolicited call) reported by Carissa
The man claimed to be Mattthew Morgan from Regions Bank Fraud department. He then asked for my husband’s card number. When my husband questioned him he refused to respond. When he contacted the bank the man called back while he was on the phone with the bank wanting more information and when questioned he did not respond. Region’s Bank said that they only ask for 4 digits. This was a fraud call.

This is someone using the Bank's phone number. Hang-up and do not call that number back to ask. Instead, look at the Bank's actual legitimate website and call them. I do not have any account and they were just trying to scam. be careful

Scammers spoofed the real Regions number (Scam call) reported by Jay Bee
I don’t have a card with Regions, and I don’t have ANY cards with the last four digits that were cited by the scammers. They were allegedly trying to confirm a suspicious transaction on this nonexistent account.

Caller claimed my Regions card had been used out of state. Wanted (Scam call) reported by Crw
Claimed to be Regions bank and that my card was being used out of state. Insisted I punch my pin# in. Wouldn’t take no for an answer. I hung up and called bank. Scam.

Regions Bank (not the caller) Regions took a very detailed report and will report the attempt., Regions bank was very helpful when I reported a Visa card attempted to trick me to get my card #. they were using a Spoofed CID and claiming they were reporting an "over seas" charge but needed me to give them my card # before they could block a $250 charge, but could not confirm they,the caller, were actually from Visa. they tried to claim they had the first # but that was the first # for all Visa cards. hung up when I told them I needed the last 4 or they were attempting fraud.

Scam call from actual regions number (Scam call) reported by Alabama
David Arthur (name given) called and said our regions account had been hacked. He verified Personal information. This man ended up long story short jacked our online account locked us out changed all our information took out 2000.00 in several different transactions thru my debit card and also thru the online account applied for a 6000.00 loan. We had to call regions and close and freeze our accounts. FYI regions will never give out personal or ask for personal information over the phone. These people knew all our information from birthdays to addresses. If you feel like it’s not right hang up and call regions. When you call the number it is actually regions bank but that is not who is calling you from that number

Fraudulent Regions Call (Scam call) reported by 96.58.91.xxx
Do not answer the call. Just call Regions directly. Yes its the same contact number but you get a real Regions person when you call them instead of answering their call. This number called me twice but I didn't pick up. I pulled the number up on Google and it said Regions Bank. They called again and I picked up. They seemed real since I pulled up my Regions app and the number listed was the correct contact number. After I hung up with them, I saw money moved around in my accounts and I immediately called Regions and they froze everything. There is a big scam going on.

Called about a fraudulent charge on my Regions Bank Credit Card (Financial services) reported by Hologroove
Called several times and I answered on the third back to back call and the gentleman asked to speak to me (my name) said he was calling in regards to "fradulent activity on my Regions Bank Credit Card and a charge made in Chicago for $511." I said that I don't have any accounts with Regions Bank and he hung up. I don't and never have had an account with Regions Bank and I have never even heard of them.
