This debt collector calls me EVERY day. Have been getting calls for a month now. I don't even see a missed call just voicemail. I have zero debt and never had any. Obviously they have the wrong number but I'm not going to try to call them back. Might lead to more frequent calling. Company called United Collection Bureau Incorporated.

A recording that you dont know is a recording at first. How are you doing? <pause> That's great. I'm calling from GBC Business services to handle all your business needs... The recording just keeps going and its not a person. Its a total scam and mine is a personal number so they are just spamming people at this point.

I do have outstanding medical bills, I know I do. But I keep the paper copies in a file, and pay them as I get the extra money to do so. But this number calls me non stop never leaves a detailed voicemail. Called them back just to see if it was one of my bills, and they guy kept saying his name was Pablo, and when I asked him about payment methods he he said they do MasterCard or visa, and to avoid a card fee I could use my checking account, meaning routing and account number. That was a major red flag so I hung up and he called back 3 times back to back.

Call came in as Potential Spam. I called back the number that called me. A man with a thick accent answered. I asked did you call he said this is inbound you called me. I said I'm calling back. He wanted me to confirm my name, I said sure what's this about. He said sure is not an answer yes or no is it you. I said sure. He hung up lol.

I got a call from this number several times asking for my son. (Debt collector) reported by


I got a call from this number asking to speak with my son. My son wasn't home, so the caller told me to tell my son to call back. I asked for information on behalf of my son, but the caller wouldn't give me any information about him. I relayed the message to my son, and he said that many of the Collection Debt Bureau calls are scams. I don't know what to do about this, because the Collection Bureau keeps calling with the same message. Sometimes they are calling with different phone numbers.

He called me and told me that I had an outstanding debt, I was aware of the debt that he was talking about, however he told me that he had my Social Security number, told me my date of birth as well as my daughters date of birth, and when I asked him to verify my Social Security he wouldn’t do it. He said he didn’t have it on file, which I asked him if he didn’t just say that he had on file, but he avoided all of my questions about that.
