I purchased a new HP printer. Somewhere along the process of installing the drivers, a box popped up that the printer could not load. Do not try and reinstall, to call this number. I called the number. They answered it "hello" Red flag one. I asked if this was hp help. He replied yes. Wanted to know the error code. Then told me it could be fixed to go into my settings. Wanted me to launch access to him to my computer. Didnt feel right and I hung up. They called back 4 times, which I didnt answer.

US IT Website LLC (Telemarketer) reported by


They installed Windows 10 and corrected some issues on a pc device, and we paid them for services. 6 months later they called and wanted $1000 to install a new Firewall, and they said ours is not functioning. I checked with IT person who said that is a scam. Now they are hounding us and they have blocked a hotmail account.

Scam supposedly selling Cisco Anti Trojan software. When I called Hulu help line number 844-843-47xx the call went to this scammer. I asked for a call back and the 800-311-5960 came up. They wanted $249 for s/w to fix my problem.

Tried to say I had a virus and walked me through steps with my computer and asked for credit card information..when I said I didn't have a credit card the person said what person survives in America without a credit card .. And asked for 100...i said I don't have that then he asked for 50. So I know this is a scam posing as microsoft.

They are a service that scams you by telling you that your computer has a virus on it by using a pop up. It is fake. They tell you that you must call them for help with your fake problem and then offer to fix it for the LOW price of $400! Very pushy on the phone and quite obvious it is fake, but easy to fall for. Your computer starts to say that if you restart it or close the window that the computer will become unusable. Again, fake.
