Called to cut power in 30minutes and return call to 18003170615 (Scam call) reported by


Guy named Jason supposed calling from ONCOR(scam) He was warning about power disconnection within 30min and provided above number to contact to avoid disconnection. Always call your electric company to verify.

Caller stated they were calling from the electric company and they were coming to shut off the service and we needed to call 18003170615

Same as the above caller said - said that power to our business would be cut off unless we contacted this number. Very convincing - had business name, owner name, and address. Problem is, we do not have a TXU account. Be sure to look up your energy provider's real number, as the menu for this phone number mimics TXU.

electricity non payment call (Scam call) reported by


Caller called and said they were with TXU, and they were going to cut off electric service today. I do not have TXU. I told the caller that I did not have TXU and he said it was the other part of the electric service and they could cut it off. I called the number back and told them I thought they were a scam and they hung up on me.
