They try to get you to go to your Dell Computer and they upload virus' to your system. They stole user information from Dell so it sounds like a real call. They know your name, computer serial, etc.

Dude called saying my Dell laptop was sending him warning messages. Told him the only Dell I owned had been sitting in a box for over a year. He told me it sent him a warning message this morning. I told him "**** you ****!, you scamming piece of ****!". He called me a **** and then I hung up.

i answered & they asked if i was D........C.....& i said yes it is & wth do u want, they hung up. i've had bs calls from this # b4. usually someone with an eastern accent, like india or saudi. every time it has been to tell me they were with HP & calling to get access to my pc so they could fix a virus or hack that they claim i have.

Scam call

I get them constantly.The other day they called claiming to be with Dell. I asked them which computer had the virus? He said hold on, let me check. He came back with a number 815. I screamed and told him I knew he was a scammer and his number was going to the FCC. The scary part was when they called from the actually Dell telephone. Dell does not know if you have a virus.
