this is Dell support, I couldn't figure out why I couldn't call till I saw people are bad rating the number. scammers are obviously spoofing the number with the negative reviews. kinda sol with that happening, can't block a legit number

As this guy said "Legit dell tech support # (I verified on dell.com), but scammers are forging this number on caller id, trying to steal your money or personal information it MAY be a scam." If the guy on the phone only barely speaks English and says something like "Your computer has come up as having an error on our server" it is a scam. Have fun with them. I usually say I can't hear them over and over, then after like 5 mins say they are too loud, ask them to hold, put your phone next to the tv for a few minutes, I turned on some porn and turned up the volume for them. after 10 mins they were still there, what a bunch of morons.

Legit dell tech support # (I verified on dell.com), but scammers are forging this number on caller id, trying to steal your money or personal information. Sometimes, pretending to be Dell, claiming you have a problem with your computer and they can fix it remotely for a fee. If you fall for it, they will now have your credit card info for further abuse. Then, they will try to trick you into allowing them to go ahead and "fix" your computer remotely, but are actually taking complete control of your computer, allowing them to plant malware & steal additional personal info. Do not say a word to them, just hang up & report the attempt on dell.com. They have a fraud/scam page for this purpose. Since this is a legit # for Dell support, it is safe to call, but if you receive a call, it MAY be a scam. I am blocking this #, but if I am waiting for a call back from dell support, I will unblock it temporarily in case Dell uses the same number to return my call.

This *IS* Dell's real number. However, scammers are likely spoofing the number to make it seem real. So this number is not inherently bad, but tread carefully if your call is unsolicited because it might actually be a scammer.

These vultures claim to be Dell Tech Support, but they're not actually affiliated with Dell. They miraculously tell you they've discovered your computer is having new problems and needs troubleshooting. Then they request you allow them to remotely take control of your comp, which is a crooked scam. DON'T DO IT. You'll be told you need to pay them hundreds of dollars to remove viruses "that will ruin your computer." I've gotten multiple calls from 800-433-9014, and I keep telling them to stop calling, f-uk off, etc., but they still call. This week I asked them where there offices are and threatened to bomb their damn building.... and they still call me! Everyone be careful. Only call Dell Tech Support that is TRULY them. When you google Dell Tech Support, you get links that are intentionally misleading.

It was some ordering department and when I asked them to remove me from the call list she asked me if I was calling from the U.S. then she transferred me to another person who had an Indian accent and I told him the same thing and he wanted my name. I told him I didn't feel comfortable to give my name and to use my phone number and remove me please. He said he logged it and hopefully they will stop harassing me.
