This group has been bugging me for months based on the fact that supposedly my insurance messed up and paid in advance of my auto accident paying for services. I have talked to an attorney that says they might be legit...but everything I have asked for they have been unable/unwilling to provide. Funny enough...BCBS says they do not show I owe the money. It's been the biggest mess. Something isn't right that is for sure. BBB gives them a D-. They are NOT a collection agency is what she is telling me but then what grounds do they have to try to collect this money from me? It's all very unclear. I have talked to the same person and have a way to contact her. I don't believe I will pay them just because they have provided nothing in writing that I have asked for. What I wonder is if this amount didn't get "sold" to them for a reduced amount and so technically my insurance has nothing to do with them any more--which is why they are not showing me legally the link between my insurance and them being hired by them.

Conduent is the company, they called me to see if another party (other than my insurance company) is responsible for my medical bills. This phone number is listed online for Conduent, so it seems legit.

Conduent; apparently, our health insurance feeds them lists of claims that might be disputed, and then Conduent hungrily sends out notices to the claimants that they collect money for such cases, and your lawyers need to contract and pay them immediately. Our health insurance company didn't have any record of contacting Conduent. The company is a predator, preying on fear.

Same! I have received several letters from this company, Conduent Payment Integrity Solutions. Called Cigna today to ask if they know or use this company. To collect for them. Never of them. They validated all my claims and said I am in good standing. Ignore these letters and any phone calls. If you owe, trust me, your insurance company will contact you both phone and mail several times. So you will know if you owe. Even if you do, I suggest paying the insurance company directly and not some third party collection agency that you don’t know. Beware of the fraud out there. Don’t even call Conduent’s number to check with them....then they got your info.

Health alliance believes I owe them money received on workers comp claim, hired this company to collect. So far, I am working with them to help them find their own error. Will update if turns out to be fraudulent.

Left voicemail message, said they are a recovery service. Claiming they were hired by my insurance healthcare provider to collect and verify personal medical information? They have questions about, and wanting to verify my personal medical/medicare information. Never give insurance company name. They left a call back number with a reference ID number. Sounds like they are calling from far away.
