Person who answered had a accent, caller id showed Duke Energy man said it was a solar company. I hung up didn't trust it.

Scam Duke Energy Disconnect (Scam call) reported by S. Mahoney
Totally sounds legit, until you speak to a CSR. They had called once before and threatened to disconnect and it was the same man with an accent. So now they've called me twice with the same scam. The first time, I called a friend that works at Duke and she said it was a scam. Duke will NEVER phone a person regarding a disconnect service. So the second time I called I knew it was a scam and called him out. Don't bother calling back the number because it answers "Duke Energy" and again it sounds real with legit options but do not enter ANY personal information when asked. Total SCAM. If it will make you feel better to call and confirm with Duke Energy, use the number listed on your bill.
