Taiwan accent scammers target Chinese name users (Scam call) reported by Hahahah
They called me even tho I asked hello? And who’s this he insisted speak Chinese first with a strong Taiwan accent (scam alert). Then he asked if xxx name is associated with this phone number. I asked what’s the problem he said it’s about xxxx account which I’ve never heard of so I say I believe you’re just scamming let’s just hung up. He insisted calling me two more times. I picked up the last one he even threatened me asking if I’m trying to avoid responsibility from xxx (didn’t hear it clearly). I laughed and asked why he’s calling a US number and didn’t speak English first, Can’t he speak English huh? He said he works in Chinese department. LOL. Anyway he never called me again. This number and name he mentioned is the information leaked from a website called weeeeee which mainly sells asian products. Be ware of scanning.
