Scammer, says they are PCH on caller ID (Silent call) reported by


Caller ID says the person is Publishers clearing house. Hubby answered my phone put it on speaker just for a silent answer to our hellos! Said hello several times and was a silent call. Be careful this is a scam number!

Publisher's Clearing House, Sales and sweepstakes , (pch.custhelp.com), I called attempting to verify a scam call I received. The automated system sucks but was sufficient in confirming the call I'd received was fake. But please be warned that scammer's CAN spoof phone numbers to appear legitimate, and you'll never be asked for any kind of payment or pre-paid card for a sweepstakes winning.

He told me I won a prize and should right down a 8 digit confirmation. Told me to call a phone number(18768408497) for further I instructions. The number is a Jamaica number so I didn't call after researching

This number is listed as belonging to publishers clearing House . Other people say it is your Microsoft scam or other type of telemarketers I have no clue I did not answer it and I will not in fact I shall block it because it came in as an 800 service number

Knew my name, but I didn't recognize his name. I asked three times and each time I could not understand what his name was. Sounded like children in the background. He said is this (my first name). I said yes and he said remember me? I said what is your name? When he didn't respond promptly, I said I don't think I know you and hung up. He didn't use my nickname but my formal name.
