After listening to the call, the message was an endless repeat of supposed transactions. Sometimes the call would just end like someone had hung-up. The whole thing is a robocall scam; but I'm not sure what they are after. Don't call them, and in future, don't pick-up this or similar numbers.

Calling, texting leaving VM pretending to be TD, but they are not, do not provide these people with any info. ALL issues with your bank can be resolved by You calling number on back of your card or number listed on official Bank website/app. Don't call back to random phone numbers

Fraudulent "review" left by the scammers so people are more likely to fall for the scam. Don't give anyone your info. If you are worried, contact the business yourself. Phone numbers are easy to fake.

I received this call and was suspicious of a potential phishing call. I decided to call TD from the number on the back of my credit card. At TD they verified that the issue was legit. Everything clear on my end. Either way, I would recommend calling the number on the back of your card, and not a random number you receive from a robocall.

Your bank will not call you. Your card will automatically be flagged, frozen and you will receive an email and/or snail mail instructing you to contact your local bank. Do not press a number to continue, this is also a way to gain access to your phone line. I was fooled by this phone scam. I called them and they had legit-seeming hold music, identity verification, etc., however I was tipped off by some red flags that I will not put here for fear they will improve their techniques. They flood the internet with positive reviews on sites like these which is clever. After realizing my error I pre-emptively blocked my cards, changed all my passwords, and requested new cards.

Loss Prevention called because someone attempted a transaction on my credit card. They had my name and the last four digits of the card. I called the TD number on the back of the card and they verified that this is real. They cancelled my card and are sending me a new one.

Received a voicemail on my landline (which is not the number I use with TD) and they used my full name and last digits of my credit card. They claimed that they needed me to call them back to confirm certain charges on my credit card. I decided to call the number on the back of my card instead and they checked my account and it was fine. This number is not the number for TD loss prevention anyway so don’t call it! If you’re worried call the number on the back of your card.

I received a text message and a phone call. I deleted the sms without opening it and declined the call. I called the number for customer service on the back of my Visa card. After verifying my identity, I was transferred to TD Security. Indeed, my card had been compromised and they were trying to get ahold of me. A fraudulent on-line purchase had been declined and I am being issued a new card. Thankyou TD!

This is NOT TD. Called the number on my VISA statement (the safest thing to do). They looked into my account as there was NO alert. This 1-800 number is a phishing scam trying to obtain more info from you. DO NOT call them.

Do not provide any information to these guys. They are pretending to be TD Bank. The positive reviews on the website are the scammers themselves trying to trick you into believing that the call is genuine. If you have any concerns, google the TD Bank customer service phone number and call them directly. Do not use any phone number provided by the scammers. BE WARNED! And BE SAFE.

I was using my card to purchase in the UK. TD caught it as possible fraud and texted me to see if I'd used the card in the UK. You can just answer Y or N and all is well.

July 24, 2020 I used facebook messenger to contact TD BANK and got a response in a minute. yes the numbers are real 1-800-466-7295. If it is just a reply back with Y or N then it is real do not give any other info. You will get a confirmation saying your card is now blocked and to call loss prevention. 1-800-983-8472 7am-12am the number I was given was 1-888-347-3261 (4am) The rep confirmed this number was also real.

TD Fraud Center has called me a couple of times now to validate if Visa credit card fraud has occured. In both instances, there were attempts by a criminal to use our card numbers which were being blocked by TD, resulting in them sending us new cards. Good job on TD's part. The number is now in my whitelist.
