"Daniel" from "Microsoft" got hung up on before he could say more. As soon as he said that, I hung up on him. He could not speak English clearly; there was lots of noise in the background, etc. An obvious scam attempt.

I called them back, lady says that # didn't call me, (Call centre) reported by


I called the number back, weird message came on asking me if I was sure that I dialed the right # and if so, press 1. This lady came on and said there are no calls coming out from their # and that scammers have stolen the # to use to place outgoing scam calls.

Call from someone claiming they were from Microsoft and that my computer had been infected. Absolutely a scam so I hung up not wanting to waste my time.
