verified with DirectTv customer service that it was a Scam (Scam call) reported by


They were trying to get my account number and information. I was told my name did not match my phone number on file. They continued to ask for my account number and I told them I was not around my account number and to verify another way. They told me to wait one second then the call disconnected. After the amount of time I was on hold for I contacted the customer service through the chat online, they told me they would not need a technician to come out for the service we currently have. After doing a Google search for the number I learned it was also a widely used scam to others. Just wanted to pass the info on. If you receive a call from this number and you do in fact have Direct Tv service I would call the number on your bill.
