I got a call on May 29 or 30 saying he was calling me about my Direct TV. He said that my contract was ending and he had access to all my info with Direct TV. He said my contract was ending and told me my cost would be going up. He talked me into starting with Dish and that it would only be $79.11 a month for two years locked in. Not so it is $97.46 a month and my contract was not up for another year. They had a woman call and say that it was me and that she wanted some 12 pack service. Direct has no 12 pack line up. Direct told her my contract was not ending for another year and that I would be charged. They said that is fine and to cancel.. I'm going to call 7 on your side as well.

Received call saying it was Directv. He had all my account info (channels, price, etc) and said my contract was up and I was now month to month. He gradually and cleverly moved into suggesting that switching to Dish would save money, and that his company represents both services.

Received a call from this individual....they noted that Dish tv services was a part of DirectV and AT&T. If I switched from Directv to Dish I would received a 2 year discount . The interesting thins was that they had access to my Directv billing info and my contract info...Be carefull if you elect this service

"Retailer" for Dish Network TV (Service) reported by Ryan Williams, Gary
This "Retailer" preyed upon my elderly relative, incorretly informing her that her current directv contract was up, and that since Dish was part of AT&T and Directv anyway, she should sign up with them. She was never informed about the YEAR left on her directv contract. Ryan Williams had Dish come out and install cable boxes and a rooftop dish. Dish should be resolving this, but they need to remove this retailer from their services.
