Got a call from this # they told me they were with the irs and that if I didn't pay $40,000 for cheating on my taxes I would be arrested. They were rude and tried to scare me with jail time. They called many times and even had an automated call saying I was going to need $30,000 just for court fees. If it hadn't been a Sat I might have fallen for it.

They have been calling on my direct work line just about every day. I called them back today just to see what kind of scam they were trying to run. On the second try a guy answered with a very heavy accent and told me I was being sued. He wanted to make sure I was the right guy and I said "you tell me who I am, you called me". He said I was being sued by the IRS and I told him he was full of crap. He then said I was going to be arrested right now and I said "perfect, I will stay on the phone with you until they get here". He then swore at me and hung up. Obviously a scam and sounds like a huge call center in India

It's a recorded call giving the 1800 number u call these idiots an they ask u for all UR INFORMATION U ASK THEM UR NAME THEY DONT KNOW AN then u tell them well y'all keep calling me y can't u tell me the name ur looking for they hang up I called back asking what's going on he says be prepared to get locked up in 2 hours so now I'm scared I called back AN I COMPLIED I GAVE THEM THE NAME ADDRESS AN LOCATION ALL OF WHAT THEY Wanted an THEY SAID YES MS. This india company calls 10 times a day threatening IRS lawsuits.Irs mails you a letter they don't call also I am very thorough on my taxes and that is that. This group of people need to be shut down.

this is another fake irs scam number from some number that goes to a call center in what sounds like india. Whoever "mark" is that rated this prior is obviously involved. I would suggest an investigation into where he is located as he is apparently involved in this illegal activity.
