They called stating there were fraudulent charges occurring in TX - I'm in WA. Then they transferred me to an automated line that asked for my current card number - that's when I ended the call.

Scammers beware

They impersonated a person from Wells Fargo. Trying to get my bank information. I told them I would call the bank myself and hung up. The bank said they were not calling me. Not to give any of my info.

The guy caught me. He even texted me a code coming from the same Wells Fargo texting number they send, he called from a Wells Fargo 800 number and I fell for it. My gut said SCAM but I fell for it anyway. Said they caught an $800 purchase in one of the Carolinas that was a fraud. Unreal…he even changed my password on my banking. I immediately called Wells Fargo Fraud Protection and they fixed it for me. Luckily nothing was taken out of my account and I caught it early enough. Wells Fargo said they WILL NEVER CALL YOU! They will text you and alert you and you have to call them instead. This was just horrible!!!!

This person called pretending to be Wellfargo stating they saw some suspicious activity on my account. After veryifying my account there was a fraudulent purchase at bestbuy.com for over 2K!!! dont fall for it!!! They even went through lengths to make sure their number was connected to Wellsfargo but it is, in fact, a scam

They called my mom and made her think that there was fraud happening in her account when in reality, they were using that to enter her account to transfer everything out of it.
