Called me asking to verify my identity by giving her personal information, my address. I told her I was not comfortable with that I would concede and give her the house numbers she said it wasn't good enough and she needed the complete address and my DOB to verify I am who she's needing to discuss a private matter. I explained I was not comfortable with giving out my personal information she said she would document it as a refusal and hung up.

I,just got the same kind of call. I asked what it's about she said I need you to verify your name,& address. On beginning she did say she was a Debt collector. I told her I had NO debt. She called yesterday 3/5, also. I am so sick and tired of this bull crap. I, must get calls like that and sales people, every day. I want it to stop. If I did owe on something other then my auto(which will be paid off soon), then why don't the state why their calling. The only thing I OWN is my automobile. I rent, so don't own a home,phone was paid in cash. How Do I Get Rid of all these stupid calls?????

I received a call and when I answered, the woman wanted me to give my date of birth and address, to confirm that it is me. I told her that you can tell me the info and I will confirm if it is correct. She said that is not how it works and if I didn't want to verify my identity then have a good day. She then hung up. You called me. I'm not giving you info.

Left a message saying that my file came across his desk and he really hoped the information was incorrect. He was trying to sound like a lawyer. He left two messages one on my cell and one on my landlords phone. I’ve NEVER given that information to anyone and now my landlord is upset thinking I did.

They called me at 6 am (I live in Colorado) and when I told her this she rudely said, actually it's 8. I said what do you want and she said it was a personal business matter she needed to discuss with me but she couldnt until I verified my previous address. I said no so she hung up.
