Idk who's calling, I have no accounts in collections and no checkngo account so unless it's someone for my husband, who has been dead for 7 years, not sure why they would be calling me.

I get a call from a machine saying it's our local O&R (Gas & Utility) they then ask you to call the above number to avoid being shut down in the next 30 minutes. I called them back and they are very professional and know exactly how our local gas company would answer. They ask me for my account number so they can check the problem and then say something to the fact that they unsure why did not receive the payment and can further look into it but in the meantime they do need a partial payment to keep the lights etc on. They tell you the amount you will need to pay and that the easiest way to pay is to get some random money loading card at the local Walgreen's and their agent will meet you their in 30 minutes. I've also heard they are actually going to locations pretending to be local gas company. Be sure to always ask for your local O& R Identification.
