They left a partial recording as I declined the call. It didn't record the first part but repeatedly said not to disregard and left a callback number twice. However, it was a 336 area code... social security administrations will never leave u a long distance call back number! It will always be local or 1800 or similar!

A guy called saying "Do not disregard this message" and some other things about being part of the Social Security. He never stated WHY there was a problem but kept repeating the callback number for their scam operation. Please disregard this number, folks. And don't call them back.

Called saying the SSA and police department were looking for me (Scam call) reported by


They wanted me to call back at a different number than the one that left tho voicemail, which is odd. Then, I looked up the contact info for the SSA dept, didn’t match. Also, they didn’t say which police station or any identifying information about me. Annoying, not well thought out scam

Called and claimed my ss was connected to serious drug charges. (Scam call) reported by


When I answered, it was an automated voice recording claiming the police dept. ( no specific police dept ) had serious drug charges connected with my ssn. They left a phone number starting with 333, I dont remember the rest of the number but I suspect a scam.

Called me left a broken English voicemail claiming to be from the social security administration. But instead of calling the SSA number back it says to call a private home in New York (looked up number left) have reported them to the SSA.
