When I answered, the rep tried to convince me that my student loans had not been completely processed and offered to help. Lies. Student loans are not new to me. As I started asking questions, he tried to avoid answering. Finally, I made him give me the balance of my loans that he had record of. Totally incorrect. I hung up on him. Now, 3 days later, my online login for the student loans and the email account associated with those loans are both "locked for security purposes". I tried calling this number back... nothing. It's a disgrace and unconscionable the lengths people will go through to steal your information.

When I answered there was silence at first. Then I could hear people in the background. It then hung up on me. Being the **** that I am, I called them back and a man with a heavy accent answered and identified himself as Joe from Federal Financial. I hung up and then called them multiple times only to receive a generic voicemail.
