The caller was trying to speak English but it was so bad I could only understand a few words she was saying. Asking for information on a credit card I applied for, I did not apply for anything. She would not say the bank or CC I applied for when I asked. Then her English became so bad I hung up. It's a scam- stay away and DO NOT give any information to them.

They left two messages 1 min apart but didn't actually say anything in the message. If this was a legit financial bank, they would have left a message. Do not answer or tell these people anything about yourself.

They said my payment didn't go through but I never received anything from my bank. I said I would call THEM back after I check my card, then he said that they needed a payment right now and asked for my debit information. I hung up and said I would call the phone# on the back of my card. (My card was at home & I'm at work) so I couldn't verify the phone#

They called me and were asking for my social security number. They claimed they worked at a bank, they knew my last 4 digits of my card and my last payment, but when I recalled the actual bank they told me they never called me and that they would never just ask for a social security number. The guy who called me was pretty aggressive and trying to get me to tell it too.

Received voice message: foreign man’s voice recording could only undestand part of man’s name and part of call back # 87. Called back the 800# and foreign lady answered for Credit One. Asking me for my SS# to verify my application status. I refused. I have no proof of who she works for. Usually banks will not call you. You would receive email or regular mail with an application status. I asked her for her SS# and asked if she would give it out to some unknown person on the phone. She said to hold on she would check a file of applicants and come back on. She disconnected the call instead.
