I received a call stating they are united health care calling for my employers my health connection program. They have called me over and over for months. I reached out to united health care and they let me know that these called are not legitimate and to block the number. They called again today from a new number.

I know this is a follow-up for care I received this week, but they called me 8 times in a row when I was in a meeting and did not leave a message. I did not appreciate this.

United Health care nurse advise and support line. Nurse was Diane. She has calls about once or twice a month to provide any healthcare support. Was told this is a no cost feature offered by United Healthcare thru our employer to help answer questions and provide support for any medical issues or concerns I may have. This comes after a recent bout with kidney stones and procedures coordinated between the provider and United Healthcare. Very pleasant call and Diane sent me a reminder about an upcoming 24hr analysis test requested by my Doctor. They answer questions and provide help for a better life thru good health, dietary, and exercise decisions with many resources available thru the program. A health coach you could say. No negative feedback to report on the calls. Always pleasant and knowledgeable.

This is a call from a scamming company claiming to be United Healthcare. I had HR at my company call United Healthcare to ask if they had called me and their is no record of them making a call to me. These people are claiming to be United Healthcare offering a service to check in with customers. This is not something that United Health Insurance offers it customers. The call is an attempt to gain PII. Do not verify your name, address, birth date or any information. If they are calling you they should have all that information. I asked them to repeat back to me my Policy number which they did have, but they did not have my group number. Either way these people are clearly good at finding info and have likely hacked into some database to get enough information to appear legit.

The number that came up = the number they gave = the number I called back: "THANK YOU for calling"... "please say the name of the state you reside in" ... if you know your party's extension dial 1.. if this is an emergency , please hang up and dial 911.... please hold for the next available Nurse. .." The phone rings and rings, BUT then again it's also 935PM at night. I think it really IS UHC (which IS my health insurance), but that this legit number is ALSO getting SPOOFED by bad people, and that's why the negative experiences.

When returning their phone call to 877-370-6823 which was a different phone number then they called me on, it asked me to enter my Member ID number or my Social Security Number. NO ONE asks you to enter your full SSN for verification..It's always the LAST 4. I picked the "I don't know" option. Why would a NURSE be calling me? When I got a live person on the phone, they asked me to verify information. They said without much information, it will be limited what can be shared with me. I gave them my birthday and they began asking more personal questions. I declined to give it to them. That's where the conversation ended. Don't give them your D.O.B., address, Healthcare ID number or Social Security Number! If there is something wrong with my healthcare coverage, my provider would send me something in the mail.

This number is definitely a SCAM! In these horrific times, with covid-19 killing our loved ones, there is NOTHING more outrageous than to prey on people who are frightened, the elderly, etc, who may be worried about their medical insurance standing. DO NOT RETURN THE CALL, BLOCK THE NUMBER IF THEY CALL YOU. DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, GIVE OUT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO UNKNOWN PARTIES OVER THE TELEPHONE!! If you are concerned about your insurance, you can call United Healthcare, or Oxford directly, which may be difficult these days, and ask them about your plan. Their phone number can be found on your insurance card, or on their website. PLEASE BE SURE YOU ATE CALLING OXFORD DIRECTLY!!

I received a call from "katie" a registered nurse that is from UnitedHealthCare at the beginning of the call, then from ADP ~3min later. She wants to help me review my insurance coverage. Let me emphasize that a *NURSE*, not insurance-agent/underwriter or my company's HR department, is wanting to discuss my benefits. She starts with a few basic questions (birth month/year), then get progressively more invasive. As the heavy indian accent already has me suspicious, she would not confirm anything that I asked, said she has sent numerous emails (spoiler: she hasn't), and states that she will send the details over then call me back tomorrow at the same time. It's been 20min and STILL no email. tl;dr - Do not answer.
