This number closely resembles NFCU but is 800 rather than 888. The woman pretends to be a NFCU fraud officer and recites 3 fraudulent charges. I smelled a rat and called the real NFCU. It was definitely a scam!

This is a legit company but they rarely call out on this number if ever, so beware some scammer SPOOFING the number to seem legit. Never give personal info, find out why they called, then CALL THEM BACK. That way you know you have the real credit Union. BEWARE most people's personal info has been stolen through hacks to Military & Credit companies like EquiFax so just cause they know your SS number & other personal info does not mean they are legitimate. ALWAYS CALL THEM BACK on a KNOWN good line.
