Fraud call pretending to be AT&T (Scam call) reported by Jess
The phone number shows up in your caller ID as AT&T's new line customer service, and somehow they are able to even send official AT&T texts to you (if you answer) with a PIN. I'm not sure if someone is fraudulently adding a line and then somehow backtracking the calls and texts to get into your account, but somehow they're using this customer service number to hack into your account, change your passcode, add a line, delete a line, etc. One of the lines on my account was deactivated, some random new line was added, and my passcode was changed. Good luck running around with the awful automated customer service line trying to fix the problem. DO NOT ANSWER!!!!

Although this is the ATT customer service number, this isn't a number that would call you ever, you would call them. I got a call from them and was scammed, had to go through the fraud dept with ATT and fix my account, get a new sim card and everything. DO NOT ANSWER, if you do, they'll give you some stupid reason and ask for a PIN number which you get texted to your phone just like you would normally through ATT customer service so it's very believable. If you did all this - call ATT customer service or go to a store and get your account sorted out immediately.
