Please do not answer the phone. Including bank , util etc. The criminals can reroute the legit nos to them. Call the bank, util, or other service right away. Dial the no do not use redial. Use no. in statement or back of card .I received calls from criminals. Using other financial institutions. I did not have an acct with them as. Courtesy I found the fraud dept and reported what happened. In fact theg were able to call the no. Not their team. It was the crooks

He said he was calling from Wells Fargo fraud department. I told him i just got done talking to Wells Fargo after getting a text message in which i replied NO to a Zelle transfer for $3000.00. Wells Fargo told me i might get a follow up call, which i did, and not to give any information to him. He was not pleased and was very rude when the call did not go his way. Be careful, this guy calling was rude, and had lots of profanity.

Claimed to be calling me to notify me of my account having fraudulent charges I asked a few questions like what kind of fraudulent charges then she asked about account information so she could tell me in detail then I asked her when the account was opened because I didn't recall opening a Wells Fargo account then she told me in 2019 then she proceeded to ask me again about account information so she could tell me what they were then that's when I broke the sad news to her that she has to be mistaken because I do not even have an account with Wells Fargo then she hung up on me and when you call back it seems like a legit Wells Fargo # asking to enter account information, sketchy

Claimed to be Wells Fargo calling about fraudulent activity (Scam call) reported by Jillian
The guy that I spoke with claimed that someone named "Jerry" had tried to transfer $1,000 via Zelle and that I needed to transfer the money back to myself. When I told him I didn't have that much to transfer from that particular account, he began asking if I had another account and what my balances were before the flagged transaction. I noticed that he didn't ask me any kind of identifying information to make sure I was who I was saying I was while supposedly looking at my account and said that it seemed fishy - he immediately hung up on me when I said that.

This number calls us daily, claiming to be Wells Fargo. We've answered numerous times and even pass the phone to our kids now because it's a running joke that the scammers are calling again. It's hilarious that they keep calling. We keep telling them that we know they are a scam, but yet they keep calling. ****!
