I'd give it more positive review but I could understand only 2 out 3 words due to the accent. I'm in the middle of a re-fi but was suspicious and asked for a supervisor to call me. While waiting for a callback I contacted my mortgage broker who confirmed the call was legitimate AND gave me a reference number to ask for in order to confirm.

I was worried at first that it was a scam but the agent from CoreLogic said if I didn’t feel comfortable about the call, that was on a recorded line I could verify its legitimacy . I went ahead and she got my current mortgage lender on the line to verify everything they needed.. I feel better that you posted that you had the same service call for verification.

A female claimed to have been asked by my mortgage lender to schedule an appraisal. Knew my full name. I have no appraisal needed nor any mortgage transaction in progress. I spoke to my bank and was advised it was a scam.

A lady said she was from core logic, working with my Lender to confirm information. She was lying. This is a 3rd party company trying to get my information. They wanted me to give them my social security number and loan number. After telling them no, I contacted my lender and they said it was a scam.

They said they wanted to verify my mortgage payment info, and they gave the name of the person I'm working with to refinance my mortgage. I am probably overly skeptical but I emailed the person I am working with to verify if this is true and asked to call back later.
