FAKE CITI BANK!!!! I get calls from this number daily from numerous different numbers. pre-recorded message about credit card. Call number - get another recording. Choose option "your credit card account" Asked for my credit card number or my social security number. Did NOT give just kept pressing 0 until transferred. Spoke with foreign person who proceeded to tell me that they would look up my account. When told I do not have account with them they said Citi Bank would never call if you didn't have account. Asked for number. I told them I would be reporting them to the "do not call service". They hung up.

Another Hang Up from CITI? (Unsolicited call) reported by


Received a call from this number, answered, they hung up. I called back the number, got a Fax sound, then a prerecorded message asking for personal information, finally got an English speaking person on line, explained the hang up call, she transferred me to Credit Card department where non english speaking person answered, and I explained the call. I gave out no personal information. Will be adding this number to my blocked list. Getting larger every day.

Called and I could tell it was a fake recording....not Citibank. I hung up but then called back to see what would happen. I got a recording that wanted me to give them my debit card, credit card, or social security number. NEVER give out this information over the phone to calls like this. Even if they threaten you. Ask them for a call back number, ask them to speak to a supervisor, ask them for their mailing address...they will hang up on you. Block these numbers if you can.
