I had filled out a form to calculate what my mortgage payment would be if I bought a home in a specific price range, on Quicken Loans dot com. I recall a question on their form asking me if I want a Realtor to call me. I checked NO. Within 2 minutes (literally) my phone rang! I continued filling out their form, and received another call from this number. I was almost done with the form so I ignored the call. I finished their form without ever receiving the estimated mortgage payment! An hour later I received a third call from this number. I was wondering who would call me 3 TIMES in LESS THAN 90 minutes, so I answered. A noisy call center was in the caller's background who wanted to give me the estimated mortgage payment I sought After receiving the information I wanted, I politely asked them to NOT CALL me agaiñ & PLEASE place my name and my phone number on their REGISTERED "DO NOT CALL" list. The person said he had done I and it may take up to 24 hrs for their system to update my # as one to NOT CALL.
