Called me three separate times in one day as of this writing. Picking up the phone would result in silence for 2-3 seconds before they hang up.

I couldn't take it anymore, so I blocked the number. My peers and I with similar experience with the SAME number are all students who are paying off our loans, but this number is NOT affiliated with our providers. This number calls every single day, sometimes more than once. When I pick up, there is only White noise (not total silence, but static feedback from the room on the other end). Besides the usual sounds of air and motion, only once did a young woman reply with words, and she requested too much personal information without being able to directly answer any questions about the "organization" she 'represents'. All-in-all, it's a scary number.
