This is call center is in Salt Lake City. I receive many calls from here. Many different numbers and names associated with this call center. This time it showed up as a Locksmith company. Sounds like a scam to get personal information.

Tired of these calls. Getting back they keep calling for student loans. lol in our 60's you think we have students loans. Wish they would find a way to stop these calls. Had one at 11 pm when in bed. Come on you should be able to stop these calls.

Numerous harassing calls from the phone number (801) 839-7901 with recorded message offering to save businesses money by offering lower credit card processing fees. No matter how many times you press the number to be removed from their automated boiler-room sales attacks, they keep calling. So, the next time they called, I pressed the button to speak to someone. I was then transferred to a punk claiming that his name was Jonathan, trying to sell credit merchant card processing services to businesses that accept credit cards. I politely asked the pitiful excuses of a human being for his last name and he said, "you don't need that." I repeated my request for his last name, wherein Jonathan asked; "are you interested in our services or just wasting my time?" When I told him once again, more forcefully this time, that I needed his last name, John hung up on me. Do yourself a favor and block the (801) 839-7901 serial spammer-telemarketing number from ever being able to ring your phone again and you'll be glad you did.

Also worked for a telemarketing firm. He could have replied that he was not permitted to give his name but given his employee number. There is always a way to identify an individual at a legitimate business.

As a former telemarketer reading "pitiful excuses of a human being" is shameful. Telemarketers aren't required to tell you their last name for security. You could have just easily asked Jonathan to remove your number from the list. Remind him if he doesn't, you can report the number, and they can receive quite a large fine. It isn't the telemarketers fault that your number is on their the calling list. You could have more easily blocked the number instead of calling and insisting to make yourself look like an idiot.
